A conceptual vinyl packaging and poster system inspired by the atmosphere of the album Forbidden Planet by Louis and Bebe Barron. The project explores experimental typography, geometric abstraction, and bold compositional systems to translate the themes of sound, technology, and movement into a cohesive visual identity. High-contrast colour palettes, layered forms, and distorted type treatments were used to create a sense of tension and motion across the system.
The identity was applied across record sleeves, posters, inserts, and promotional materials, with each component designed to function both independently and as part of a larger visual system.
